Non-evaluative Views of the Child Interviews

A Non-evaluative Views of the Child Interview (sometimes referred to as a Hear the Child Interview) is a process whereby the views of the child, with regard to issues that affect the child, are gathered and reported.

After I have gathered the documents and information I need, I meet with your child for one 45 to 60 minute interview.

Having completed the interview, I then prepare my report.  The Non-evaluative Views of the Child Report I prepare will consist of a transcribed copy of the interview.

Because this is a non-evaluative report, I do not offer any opinions; I simply gather and relay your child’s views on issues that the adults involved have asked me to explore.

I prepare Non-evaluative Views of the Child Reports for parties who have legal representation and also for parties who are self-represented.
